Our History

This extraordinary adventure began many years ago when we decided to start our activity in the area of remodeling and reconstruction of dilapidated buildings in the historic part of the city.

Our architecture and interior design projects are always conceived based on the concept of preserving the history, traditions and spirit of places.
At a certain point, we felt the urge to open the doors of our homes to share this vision and values.
For us Portuguese, the desire to welcome visitors is a very old thing, it comes from our ancestors who left the doors of their houses open and a plate of food on the table to welcome travelers who passed by.

54 Santa Catarina was born from the desire to create a magical space in Lisbon that was more than just a place to sleep. After carefully restoring a building that was over 300 years old and had almost been destroyed by a huge fire, we opened our doors in 2014 with just 9 sophisticated apartments, each with a distinctive and unique décor, evoking an illustrious character from our culture.

54 São Paulo is our new unit in Lisbon and marks a new level of demand in our art of hospitality.
This oasis located on the riverside, with a charming garden separating the two buildings of the establishment, was designed to create an environment of sophisticated comfort and excellent service.
Now, after purchasing and renovating the building next door, 54 Santa Catarina has 11 spacious and exquisite apartments, where we welcome our guests in a very personal way, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The houses in Comporta are located on the Alentejo coast, in the region where we spent our holidays as children and whose beauty and authenticity make it a paradise yet to be discovered. They are family homes, with pure and contemporary lines, perfectly integrated into the nature of extensive rice fields, surrounded by pine trees and unspoilt beaches, where we want you to feel as we do: in our beach house.
